Whether you have children or not, you probably know that March Break is just around the corner! March break is a great time to schedule an appointment for a cleaning or check-up - and if you are too busy during the March break, we will be open on Easter Monday, April 1. Are you looking for other activities to fill your time? Bring the kids to the ROM and travel back to the Viking era with their special family attraction for the break! The Ontario Science Centre, Art Gallery of Ontario, and Ripley's Aquarium are all great family activities for the break!

If you feel great, a smile comes naturally. It's an outward sign of joy, amusement, or excitement. Obviously, it is not natural to smile when we're sad or upset; but it turns out that smiling might be the best thing to do when you're ready to shift int o a brighter mood. And it's not just for you; each time you smile at a person, their brain coaxes them to return the favour. You are creating a reciprocal relationship that allows both of you to release 'feel good' chemicals in your brain (endorphins), activate the reward centres, increase attractiveness and the chances of living longer, healthier lives. |

Bessey is a dental assistant and a new member of the Lawrence West Dental team in North York. Bessey is a graduate fro Career Canada College and has been an assistant for 21 years. She has spent the majority of her career in the treatment of patients with periodontal disease. Bessey enjoys learning and is presently working towards her diploma in Medical Transcription/Healthcare Documentation. Bessey has always known that she wanted to work in the healthcare field. Bessey loves helping patients obtain their perfect smiles and healthy mouth. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy travelling, skiing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. |

March may be Nutrition Month, but sometimes it is nice to indulge in comfort food like Macaroni and Cheese. However, this isn't any regular Mac n' Cheese, this is special. Made with creamy bechamel saume and a delicious breadcrumb crust. This recipe is great for staying warm and happy during the unpredictable March weather. |
